Becoming a member is a simple as filling in one of our membership application forms (download here) or picking it up from the rack in the foyer and returning it to the Church Office or to the Administrator’s pigeonhole. If you would like to join the Electoral Roll (this entitles you to vote at the Annual Church Meeting, in particular to vote for new PCC members), please complete this form (download here).

What does membership involve?

We expect members to commit to three things:

(i) Growing

As we read and apply God’s Word to our lives, and as we allow his Holy Spirit to guide us, we begin to grow into the person God designed us to be – in fact, to become more like Jesus. At htcd, everyone is encouraged to join a small group to learn and grow with others.

(ii) Serving

We believe that God gives all Christians gifts to use within our church family, so that we can serve one another and our community in different ways. When you first join, we encourage you to enjoy simply being part of things here and getting to know others. Once you have been a member for a while, we would love to talk with you about how your own unique gifts and talents can be used for God’s glory in this place.

(ii) Giving

As we grow in commitment to Jesus and his church, the Bible challenges us to support the mission and ministry of our own local church fellowship with our money. The best way to give financially is through our planned giving scheme. Find out more....
